Specific duties may include:
•Utilizing resources, such as construction reports, to learn when commercial construction projects are coming to bid •Interpreting and reading blue prints
•Completing estimating duties and facilitating takeoffs through Tapered Solutions
•Maintaining current pricing from the manufacturers
•Using expert application, installation and product knowledge to successfully meet goals
•Maintaining and conveying all relevant competitive sales knowledge directly to management
•Making recommendations and working closely with the Branch Manager to ensure acceptable margin levels
•Working closely with Outside Sales team in coordinating commercial jobs
•Utilizing lead generation programs to identify potential projects by market
•Maintaining upcoming bid lists
•Cultivating customer relationships and industry contacts within the market
Specific qualifications include:
•1-2 years' experience in roofing, siding, and windows is preferred (roofing supply sales or site work with a crew)
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•Effective time management and prioritization skills
•Basic computer skills
•Positive attitude and team player
•Detail and service-oriented
