Circle Time is looking for a lead toddler teacher in our Toddler classroom (18mo.
-24mo.
) This classroom has 1:4 ratio and is looking for an experienced teacher for the 2023-2024 school year.
Shifts available: Full time team members 8 hour days: 8am-5pm.
10 hour shifts: 8am-6pm (Tuesday off).
Part time: M-F 8AM-2PM, M,W,F 8AM-2PM
Duties:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and lessons for preschool-aged children
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Provide guidance and support to children in their social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Foster a love for learning through engaging and interactive lessons
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive and positive learning environment
- Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, behavior, and developmental milestones
Qualifications:
- One of the following: CDA in Infant/toddler, Associate Degree in ECE, or Higher degree in ECE.
Teachers in school with more than 12 credit hours in ECE will also be concidered.
- Knowledge of child welfare guidelines and best practices
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with young children
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
