Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and rest periods
- Monitor and promote positive behavior and social interactions
- Communicate with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise
- Maintain a clean and organized childcare space
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in daycare, classroom, nannying, or caregiving roles
- Knowledge of early childhood education and childhood development principles
- First aid and CPR certification preferred
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively
- Strong communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children
Skills:
- Experience working with children of various ages
- Ability to manage behavior and create a positive learning environment
- Knowledge of age-appropriate activities and educational materials
- Familiarity with basic first aid procedures
- Understanding of child development milestones
