About the Role
HARMAN’s diverse portfolio of businesses and customers offer interns a great opportunity to gain exposure to a wide range of projects and practices.
As a member of our team, your primary role will be to support HALOsonic Product Development which focuses on applications of sound synthesis and active noise control.
What You Will Do
Perform acoustic and/or vibration measurements as well as post-process the data
Assist in software tool development by programming in MATLAB and/or C++
What You Need
Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program at an accredited institution having completed your Sophomore year or later, taking at least one class in the semester/quarter prior to participation in the internship program, and returning to school for at least one semester upon completion of the internship program
Must have a cumulative 3.
0 GPA
Must have taken courses in Controls, Signal Processing, Acoustics, and Mechanical Vibrations
Must have strong oral and written communication skills and be able to confidently interact and present information to senior leaders and executives
Must work collaboratively with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
What Makes You Eligible
Be willing to work in an office in Novi, Michigan.
Able to provide your own housing and transportation to/from work.
Must possess unrestricted work authorization.
Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment
Must provide full work availability from May 20, 2024 through August 9, 2024 and be able to work 40 hours per week
