About the Role
The Software Test Engineer is responsible for designing the software components (detailed design), codes the software components and tests the software components based on the software architecture and the software requirements within a
project.
Your Responsibilities
Development (design, implement, test and debug) of core and/or application specific software requirements for automotive embedded electronic module serial production projects
Involvement in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Develop software in compliance with a formal ASPICE/CMMi based Global Product Engineering Process (GPEP).
10 plus years of embedded experience in SW development including requirements, Design and Implementation with embedded C/C++ programming.
Engineer should have experience SOC experience (TI TDA4 or any other SOC ).
ADAS domain experience is a plus.
Engineers should have knowledge on following integration activities (At least one is mandatory).
TI SDK
QNX OR GHS integrity or equivalent safety linux
Safe RTOS
Camera Image pipelining knowledge is a plus.
Experience on Inter-processor communication on SOC is a plus.
AUTOSAR experience is a plus.
SW Reprograming experience (Boot SW) is a plus.
Board bring up, UART/I2C/Ethernet or any other Driver development experience is required.
SW architecture development experience using UML or any other tools like Enterprise architecture, Rhapsody and etc.
Experience with configuration management PTC, GIT and etc
Knowledge of software test tools such as Vector CAST, Cantata, Tessy, RTRT, google test
Troubleshooting and debugging skills
Knowledge of structured problem solving (8D) methods and/or techniques
Experience with customer interface for all software related activities including customer design reviews, clarify and negotiate customer requirements.
Performs other duties as necessary for completion of projects and achievement of departmental goals
Who we are looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering / Software Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent (Master’s preferred)
10+ years’ relevant experience regarding the Responsibility / Activities (listed above) for automotive electronics serial development projects (mandatory).
Level to be considered based on years of experience
