*Position Overview:*
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Returns Processing Specialist to join our team.
The Returns Processing Specialist will be responsible for efficiently managing returned orders, ensuring accurate processing, and facilitating timely refunds or exchanges.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Receive, inspect, and process returned merchandise according to established procedures and guidelines.
* Verify the condition of returned items and determine appropriate disposition (refund, exchange, repair, etc.
).
* Accurately record and document all returned items, including reasons for return and any necessary follow-up actions.
* Liaise with customer service representatives to resolve customer inquiries and concerns related to returns.
* Collaborate with inventory management teams to update inventory records and ensure proper stock levels.
* Identify trends or patterns in returned items and provide insights to management for process improvements.
* Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including processing areas and storage facilities.
* Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding returns, refunds, and exchanges.
* Assist with other tasks and projects as assigned by management.
*Qualifications:*
* High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in customer service or related field is a plus.
* Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in e-commerce or retail, is a plus.
* Proficient computer skills, including experience Google Business Suite.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
* Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and workload.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations professionally.

* Ability to stand, walk, and move around for extended periods while processing returned merchandise.
* Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to handle and inspect items accurately.
* Ability to lift and carry boxes or packages weighing up to 10 pounds.
* Regular bending, stooping, reaching, and kneeling to access and handle items stored at different heights.
* Comfortable working in a warehouse or distribution center environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
* Use of basic office equipment such as computers, scanners, and printers for data entry and documentation.
* Occasional use of ladders or step stools to access higher shelves or storage areas.
* Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain focus and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
* Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
*Work Environment:*
Employees will be working indoors in a fully climate-controlled facility that houses women's clothing and accessories.

) and various nuts (tree nuts, non-tree nuts, etc.
), which may be hazardous to those individuals with certain fragrance and/or nut allergies.
