Veterinary Customer Service Representative

Join our energetic and passionate team as a veterinary customer service representative .
Goodison Veterinary Center in Rochester has a full/part time position available to assist with front office duties.
Schedule will include weekdays and 1-2 Saturdays per month, up to 40 hours per week.
The receptionist’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to: answering the phone; scheduling appointments; processing prescription refills and food orders; checking patients in and out for appointments/surgeries; preparing patient records for next day appointments; creating invoices and processing payments; ensuring exam rooms and front lobby are clean for each client and patient; administrative work as needed.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and receptionist experience.
Experience working with animals is a plus.
The ideal candidate will have customer service experience in a veterinary setting, computer skills (including experience with veterinary software), the ability to work in a fast-paced office, and a professional, positive attitude.
A self-starter with the ability to multi-task and use down-time effectively is highly desired.
They must uphold the principles and beliefs of the practice at all times; be a team player; maintain confidentiality; listen to customers; write clearly and informatively; respond to management direction; take responsibility for own actions; observe safety and security procedures; and use equipment and materials properly.
