Sweeper and Tack Truck Driver-CDL B or A

Asphalt Specialists, LLC is looking for a sweeper/Tack truck driver to be part of the team! The The driver is responsible for safely operating a heavy-duty sweeper truck to perform assigned duties on cleaning private streets, parking lots, and/or other locations and to drive the tack truck to spray tack and prepare the surface for paving.
This position is responsible for thoroughly and efficiently servicing the clients’ needs while complying with Company policies.
*Essential Job Functions:* * Operates sweeping vehicle that cleans streets and lots of trash, leaves and other.
* Drive Distributor/Tack Truck in front of paving operation to spray tack and prepare the surface for paving.
* Ensures supplies and material handling equipment is secured prior to operating * sweeper.
* Performs pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle.
* Valid driver's license class B with a clean driving record.
* Ensures vehicle is operating correctly while on the route and notifies Supervisor/Dispatch/Garage of any concerns.
* Understands and practices operating best practices.
* Immediately reports any unsafe situations and/or service calls to Dispatch * before attempting service.
* Participates and cooperates in all scheduled training, briefings, and safety * meetings as required by the Company.
* Performs all duties as scheduled by Supervisor or Dispatch, assisting * other company drivers as directed.
* Notifies Supervisor of any incidents/accidents/injures/property damage.
* Provides a positive professional customer attitude when dealing with customers.
