General Purpose: As a Bus Driver, you would perform a variety of routine and complex transportation work in driving a car or bus, coordinating transportation plans in support of senior adult programs.
Schedule: Permanent Part-Time (1 to 2 days a week).
Wednesdays and Thursdays or Fridays from approximately 7:00am-4:00pm.
Days and hours depend on rider demand.
Preferred Qualifications:
(A) Graduation from high school or GED equivalent
(B) Ability to obtain a First Aid and CPR/AED certification within the first three months of employment
(C) Thorough knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving
(D) Skill in operation of a wheelchair lift
(E) Ability to safely drive a bus or van
(F) Ability to communicate effectively with staff, riders and the public
(G) Ability to read maps and general knowledge of city streets and outlying areas
(H) Ability to do basic mathematical computations
(I) Ability to use smart phone and digital navigation
Salary: $15.
00 - $17.
00 per hour depending on qualifications.
