CDL Class B Local Delivery Driver

*JOB DESCRIPTION * *Dispatched out of Farmington Hills, MI* Full Time: Monday-Friday Start Time: 7:00AM.
May vary depending on route.
Average Shift: 8-10 hours Opportunity for Over time Corfu Foods is looking for CDL Class B delivery driver to work a consistent 5 days a week with optional overtime opportunities.
We are looking for qualified drivers to safely drive to a designated area and make between 7-12 deliveries and safely drive back.
*This is a physical job, most unloading is done with a two-wheeler.
* *You will be home every night* Experience in foodservice distribution preferred.
*Job duties include:* * Safe and professional operation of a commercial motor vehicle.
* Complete inspections of commercial vehicles and identify any and all defective equipment and safety issues.
* Unload product using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, etc.
, and place in designated customer areas.
* Verify accuracy of delivery to customers and obtain customer signatures.
* Handle collection of payments when necessary.
* Professionally interact with customers.
* Maintain route as planned by front office.
* Observe all local, state, and federal laws.
*Physical Requirements* * Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20-80lbs of product repetitively.
* Comfortable driving and working thru all weather types.
*Other Requirements* * Perform truck pre-trips and report truck issues as they arise.
* Comply with all DOT, FMCSA rules and regulations.
* Pass a DOT pre-employment drug test.
* Have a FMCSA clearinghouse account with non-prohibited status.

*Required Qualifications:* * High school diploma/GED or state approved equivalent * Valid CDL B or higher license * Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable) * Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years (No serious moving and/or other violations) * Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check * Valid current DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card * Able to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler, lift gate and/or other equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight of varying size and weight throughout shift; product generally ranges from between 10-60 pounds and up to between approximately 60 and 90 pounds, depending on the location Work Location: * One location Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $22.
