CDL Class A Driver

Leggera Technologies is hiring an experienced Class A CDL Driver in Holly Michigan.
The driver will transport automotive freight on a dedicated route between Leggera’s two Michigan Facilities (Holly and Orion Township) and our customers located in Northern Ohio.

Our company is currently looking for a self-motivated and independent professional to join our team as a Truck Driver.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Company Driver and enjoy having the opportunity to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities: * Drive a semi-trailer truck.
* Be on time.
* Stay in communication with dispatcher.
* Must have valid CDL A license * Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations * Offer is contingent upon successfully completing DOT drug screen and background check * Experience using Geotab ELD.
* Experience in operating fork lift truck and ability to load and unload truck when required.
* Good communication skills * Obeying and following applicable traffic laws * Securing cargo and properly arranging and balancing it within vehicle * Maintain detail log of working hours in compliance with state and federal regulations * Ensuring any mechanical issues with the vehicle are corrected prior to driving * Planning routes and meeting delivery schedules * Complying with truck driving rules and regulations * Reporting any defects, accidents and violations.
* Maintain proper driving record and abide by laws and regulations.

00 - $35.
