Tractor Trailer Truck Driver CDL A - Home Daily - Full Time Nights - Novi

We offer a sign on bonus !! We are seeking a dependable and efficient CDL Class A truck drivers to drive tractor trailers for local deliveries of medical diagnostic equipment.
Must be organized, detailed oriented, and comfortable working independently.
A clean driving record and commercial driving experience is a must.
CDL-A drivers are responsible for the safe and timely movement of tractor trailers configured for mobile medical imaging and assisting technologists at client site.
AS Transport, National Diagnostic and NDS Wellness are part of the NDS Family of Companies *Job Duties and Responsibilities* * Ability to drive tractor trailers with manual and automatic transmissions with a minimum of 2 years experience.
We will train on medical equipment specifics.
* Fully understand how to operate and safely drive your assigned vehicle * Ensure trailers of securely connected to tractor * Set up medical equipment at destination * Comply with ICC and DOT regulations * Make safety a priority at all times * Monitors, reports and/or repairs any mechanical or safety item that would prevent the safe transport of company equipment.

*Requirements and Qualifications* * *Able to work nights and rotating weekends* * *Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) Class A required* * *2+ years of proven experience in commercial truck driving* * High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred * Able to set up medical diagnostic equipment at delivery sites (training will be provided) * Clean DOT driving record with no moving violations * Comfortable with Transporting and setting up medical equipment * Must pass a background check and drug test * Skilled at driving and parking large, heavy tractor trailers * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
at a time *TYPE OF EQUIPMENT OPERATED* Mechanical and driving skills for various types of semi-tractors in combination with 45 to 53 foot long trailers.
Must be able to understand and retain training by all manufacturers on mobile medical imaging trailers.
*Training pay for the first (2-3 weeks) then pay rate increases to $27/hour.
Full Time Drivers receive benefits* Sign on bonus of $1000 after 90 days, and $1000 after a year of employment! Yearly performance based bonuses for all truck drivers.
