On-call Company Plow/Salt Driver

We are looking for a ON-CALL Salt and Plow driver for the rest of the winter season.
Must be available when the snow starts to fall and be able to work until all work is completed.
Start times very depending on snow accumulation but hours can be as long as 8-12 hours a shift depending on the weather.
Duties: - Operate various types of commercial vehicles, including Plow trucks and box trucks - Use salt box and plow to remove salt and ice from Commercial properties parking lots.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
- Maintain accurate records of routes completed.
- Communicate with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate routes and schedules.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding transportation operations.
Skills: - Experience in plowing snow and using a salt box - Knowledge of commercial vehicle regulations and safety protocols.
- Ability to load and unload cargo using proper techniques and equipment.
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record.
- Strong communication skills to interact with team members and customers.
- Ability to follow directions and adhere to schedules.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays if required.
