Industrial Cab Assembly Assistant
Wixom, MI
1st shift
Installing all components for turn-key completion of cabs.
This includes insolation, control panels, dashboards, wiring harnesses, seats, windows, doors, lights, horns.
Ability to read assembly instructions and drawings, including electrical schematics with limited help.
Ability to gather materials and tolls necessary to perform work in an organized manner.
Perform visual and dimensional inspections of in-pross assemblies and finished products.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Has assembly/production experience and a strong mechanical aptitude.
Must be comfortable working in an industrial environment that requires physical duties.
Motivated and detail oriented, focused on quality workmanship Proficient in basic math Possesses good communication skills and a great attitude.
Will work independently, maintain accurate records and high quality of work.
Experience working with electrical systems and mechanical systems Experience working with hand tools.
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL & MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
Will involve frequent standing, bending, twisting, stooping, and kneeling, being on your feet most of the day.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Must be able to read, write and speak English.
EXPERIENCE:
Assembly experience -1 year Mechanical knowledge: 1 year
SCHEDULE:
One Shift 6am to 2:30pm, Monday-Friday
EDUCATION:
High school or equivalent
