*Elementary Special Education Resource Room Teacher * *DESCRIPTION OF THE DISTRICT*: The Brandon School District is a mid-size school district nestled in Northwest Oakland County.
The district has approximately 1,000 students in junior kindergarten-5th grade between the two elementary schools, approximately 600 at the middle school level and approximately 850 at the high school.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: * Valid Michigan Teaching * Acquired full endorsement by the State Board of Education in one or more of the following areas: Emotional Impaired, Specific Learning Disability, Autism or Cognitively * Experience in co-teaching with General Education teachers to support successful integration and achievement within the general education * Skilled in addressing academic and behavioral needs of students and the development of behavior intervention plans and functional behavior * Skilled in curriculum based assessments, progress monitoring and data collection and * Proficiency in integrating technology into instruction as a tool for student learning for work production, instruction and REPORTS TO: Special Education Director / Principal WORKDAY/WEEK: Per Building Schedule STARTING DATE: 08/28/2023 COMPENSATION: Per BEA Master Agreement Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $40,103.
