Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: Clinical Instructor, Radiology Technologist Full-time, 40 hours What you will do as a Clinical Instructor, Radiology Technologist: The Clinical Instructor's primary responsibility is to provide instruction, support, direction and guidance to Oakland Community College radiologic technology students during their clinical affiliation at Trinity Health Oakland Hospital.
Acts as a liaison between the students, staff technologists, and Oakland Community College.
She/He must be self-motivated, use independent judgment, and be able to work with minimum supervision.
Shall be available for student inquiries and guidance while they are assigned to the Trinity Health Oakland Hospital.
Will provide support for the Radiology Supervisor in areas relating to the students' clinical affiliation.
This individual will be a resource person for other areas of the department regarding student activities.
The Clinical Instructor will spend at 50% of his/her time performing student related duties when the students are assigned to Trinity Health Oakland Hospital as a part of their clinical rotation.
What you will need as a Clinical Instructor, Radiology Technologist: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Completion of CAHEA approved School of Radiologic Technology Registered by the ARRT (R) Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Excellent customer service orientation skills necessary in order to deal effectively with various levels of hospital personnel, outside customers and community groups.
Four years of experience as a Registered Diagnostic Technologist.
