Essential Duties: Works with students to help them achieve the reading skill level of the class as a whole.
Administers, scores, and records such achievement and diagnostic tests as the teacher recommends for individual students.
Assist in producing and organizing the learning environment, equipment and materials.
Guides independent study, enrichment work, and remedial work set up and assigned by teacher.
Assists with supervision of students during emergency drills, assemblies, play periods, and field trips.
Reads to students, listens to students read and participates in other forms of oral communication with students.
Supervisor for Lunch/Recess Other duties as assigned Requirements and Responsibilities: Some reading/writing and language college classes preferred? Strong interpersonal skills and ability to relate well to staff and students Willingness to learn developmentally appropriate educating practices Assist in producing and organizing the learning environment, equipment and materials Provide individual or small group student support Ability to walk long distances Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time Ability to take written and oral instructions Schedule/Wage: Monday - Friday 10:30 - 3:45 $14.
