The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the managing partner and enhance overall office effectiveness.
The key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Maintain attorney calendars.
* Experience with Federal, State and District court filings.
* Schedule depositions and court appearances.
* Handle communication with clients.
* Drafting and revising pleadings and other legal documents.
* Answering and directing phone calls.
* Personal Assistant to the Managing Partner

The key skills and qualities required:
* Proven working experience as legal assistant or legal secretary.
* Familiarity with law, legal procedures and protocols, and court systems.
* Satisfactory knowledge of day-to-day operations of a legal office.
* Computer literacy.
* Working knowledge of case management software.
* Excellent secretarial and organizational skills.
* Ability to juggle multiple activities and work under pressure.
* Assisting Managing Partner with various personal tasks
* Ability to respect and maintain confidentiality
* Defense experience a plus.
