com/en/company/about-us The Stellantis Software team is seeking a motivated and passionate leader with demonstrated Instrument Cluster & Head Up Display Software development experience.
This leader will work on industry leading components utilizing the latest display technologies that directly impacts the customers user experience.
We are seeking a candidate who can lead, inspire and continue to build the Stellantis team of talented and engaged Software professionals to develop, document, and support our Instrument Cluster & Head Up Display Software.
The role involves a high level of cross functional leadership to ensure alignment and decisions reflect the goals of the software roadmap.
The Software Manager will focus on enabling their team to meet all the vehicle milestones and ensure compliance, safety and functional requirements are achieved.
This leader is expected to be able to communicate complex issues and solutions to a broad audience of senior leadership.
The Software Manager will need the ability to provide technical direction and establish processes to keep a high level of efficiency within the team.

The job responsibilities include but are not limited to: Responsible for all North America Software Instrument Cluster & Head Up Display SW projects Manage a cross-functional team to collectively deliver all aspects of the Software Instrument Cluster & Head Up Display SW platform on current and future vehicles Leads, guides, and directs a group of technical SW employees responsible for Instrument Cluster & Head Up Display HMI Logics & Graphics deliverables in support of the organization's business objectives Architect and develop all the Cluster layer applications & Graphics.
Coordinate SW development activities with Onsite & Offshore development team Coordinate and participate in architecture, requirements, design, code, and test case reviews Work closely with User Machine Interface and Graphical team to develop/iterate the best graphical layer Work closely with Suppliers to troubleshoot defects, propose solutions, safety analysis interface and design Work closely with component teams to quickly resolve issues, test on vehicles as needed Ensure the delivery of features in scope, time and quality Perform technical coordination, problem triage and solution Familiar with issue tracking tools (Jira, Bugzilla, etc.
) Proven leadership skills managing teams directly or indirectly Ability to effectively manage time between multiple projects and prioritize Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related degree field A minimum of 10 Years of experience Experience in automotive Application software development/ embedded in challenging roles developing complex software systems.
Proficiency in C/C++ programming in a multi-process, multi-threaded development environment Experience with automotive communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet) Understanding of formal ASPICE, ISO26262 in relation to software development Experience with software development and diagnostics tools (e.
g.
, HIL testers, CANalyzer, INCA, MATLAB Simulink/ Staeflow, C/ C++, RTW/ Embedded Coder, Targetlink, Reactis, BTC Embedded Tester, Simulink Test, Polyspace, compiler etc.
) Familiar with Agile development process Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Preferred Qualifications: Masters or advanced degree in Electronics, Electrical, Embedded Automotive Engineering, or related Engineering field from an accredited university Experience in AUTOSAR SW development.
Experience in MATLAB/Simulink/ StateFlow etc.
, Understanding of software/hardware design and their failure modes Experience in ISO26262 based software development Experience working within an Agile/Scrum software development process and SCM tools like Github Good understanding of CAN / LIN/ CAN-FD / Ethernet protocols including Vehicle diagnostics & related tools such as CANoe/CANalyzer Knowledge of Automotive Infotainment systems: operating system, I/O hw protocols, flashing, diagnostic procedures & Cybersecurity principles 5 or more years of experience supervising a team of engineers EOE / Disability / Veteran At Stellantis, we assess candidates based on qualifications, merit and business needs.
