Parda is seeking an analytical thinker and dynamic leader to join the executive team as the *Vice President of Finance*.
*Responsibilities:* The VP of Finance reports directly to the CEO and is responsible for aligning Parda’s strategic plan with short-term and long-term qualitative and quantitative measures of success.
The key responsibilities include:
* *Financial Analysis and Strategic Planning:*
* Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support the development of strategic plans.
This includes optimizing pricing strategies, monitoring balance sheet performance, assessing interest rate risk, liquidity management, along with income and expense management.
* Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, forecasts, and budgets.
* Evaluate, and present reports reflecting the financial position of the credit union.
* *Accounting Management:*
* Oversee the credit union accounting and financial functions.
* Oversee accounts payable (AP), ACH, wires, check processing, service center and ATM settlement.
* Ensure accurate general ledger reconciliation.
* *Asset Liability Management:*
* Monitor and evaluate the investment portfolios to ensure effective asset liability management.
* Review and reconcile the credit union’s investment portfolio.
* *Leadership:*
* Foster a positive and collaborative team culture.
* Coach and mentor team for professional development.
* Work directly with the team of four to develop talent.

Financial Audits and Compliance:*
* Coordinate financial audits and exams.
* Ensure compliance following general accepted accounting principles.

Communication:*
* Be a skilled communicator.
Deliver accurate and relevant financial information to the board, leadership team and front line, adjusting delivery to the audience for understanding.
*Qualifications:* The qualified candidate will have:
* A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
* Three to five years of related experience.
* Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
* Innovative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
