West Bloomfield Health & Rehabilitation Center is currently looking for a full-time *Housekeeping & Laundry Supervisor.

*Job Description:*
Under the supervision of the Administrator, the Director of Housekeeping & Laundry assumes responsibility and accountability to maintain the facilities Housekeeping and Laundry departments.
Assuring services create a safe, sanitary, and comfortable environment for patients, staff, and guests.
Director manages and advises the Housekeeping and Laundry departments, to assure its function and consistency with state and federal laws and regulations.
*Tasks include*:
• Manages the schedules of Housekeeping and Laundry staff
• Oversee the cleanliness/sanitization of patients rooms, hallways, lobby’s, offices
• Manages bed management for admissions, transfers, discharges
• Maintains a clean workspace and equipment
*Education and Experience*:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years’ experience in Housekeeping or equivalent position
• Prior experience in long term care
• Prior experience with Infection Control
*Performance Requirements:*
• Strong organizational skills
• Knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the essential functions of the job
• Effective use of interpersonal skills
• Ability to communicate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Initiative and flexibility in work environment
• Ability to establish and carry out priorities
*Working Conditions*:
• Ability to stand and walk intermittently throughout the working day
• Ability to work with chemicals and cleaning agents in correspondence to state and federal procedures and regulations
• Must be able to lift, push, and/or carry 25- 50 lbs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.
00 - $56,000.
