Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Infant Teacher to join our team.
As a Infants Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing a nurturing and educational environment for infants.
Your responsibilities will include creating lesson plans, implementing age-appropriate activities, and fostering the social, emotional, and cognitive development of each child.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote physical education, literacy education, and overall child welfare
- Create a safe and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning
- Provide individualized attention and support to meet the unique needs of each child
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Utilize effective behavior management techniques to promote a positive classroom atmosphere
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to plan and coordinate activities and events
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support as needed
- Implement early intervention strategies to address developmental delays or challenges
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessments
Skills:
- Experience working with young children in an early childhood education setting
- Strong knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices
- Excellent classroom management skills to create an organized and structured learning environment
- Ability to engage students in age-appropriate activities that promote physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Effective communication skills to interact with students, parents, and colleagues
- Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with children of diverse backgrounds and abilities
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques to address challenging behaviors in a positive manner
Requirements:
- Experience with working with children age 6 weeks - 18 months in a childcare facility.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Background check clearance
