Summary: The Regional Service Manager (RSM) is responsible for holding branches accountable for quality of work in adherence to the Service Department’s SOPs.
The RSM trains the branches on SOPs and SWIs and evaluates results and performance.
The RSM acts as a liaison between Branch Service Department/Manager, and Corporate Service Team.
The RSM strives to support company goals by maintaining satisfactory KPIs and promoting overall fleet quality.
Responsibilities:
Partner with Corporate Service Department in the development of SOPs and SWIs
Oversee Service Departments’ cleanliness, organization, maintenance, tools and 5S expectations
Ensure adequate stock levels for parts and supplies at assigned branches
Travel to branch locations to conduct Service Department inspections ensuring that company standards are being met for standardization, quality of repairs, adherence to SOPs and SWIs
Monitor service reports and KPIs to identify trends and perform root cause analysis of equipment failure
Develop training schedule to ensure all mechanics participate in training with the Corporate Service group
Conduct recurring staff training and workshops at branch locations ensuring service employees are advancing their knowledge in service process and repair operations
Evaluate Service Employee knowledge and skills, identify training opportunities to support the Team’s professional advancement
Qualifications:
Project management, supervisory and training experience in a service/repair setting
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Planning and organizational skills in handling multiple projects
Ability to read schematics, blueprints and/or technical manuals
Skills in workflow analysis and management
Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting mat
