THE POSITION:
LEAD Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) - Brighton –Full-time: No weekends
This future teammate should possess a strong clinical background with a team mindset and dedication to serve our clients.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Creates simulated conditions in our brand new 70,000 sq ft natural learning environment known as The Village.
Formulates appropriate treatment plans that are sensitive to clients’ cognitive, social, emotional, and sensory needs
Administers treatment and tailor interventions as needed
Suggests additional treatment by other professionals as required
Operates within time, financial, and other resource constraints
Remains abreast of changes in research on evidence-based practices
Advocates for the inclusion of individuals with disorders and disabilities within society
Required Skills/Abilities:
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
Able to act decisively and maintain client dignity
Proven work experience as a BCBA or similar role
Have very strong interpersonal skills to build professional relationships with clients, families, and co-workers
Have excellent leadership, and time management skills
Adhere to ethical standards in HIPAA and the BCBA code of ethics
Be excited about the growth opportunities ahead
Have a passion for research
Love to think outside the box to provide excellence in care
Education and Experience:
Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis
Licensed BCBA in the state of Michigan – minimum 3-5 years' experience
