Responsible for managing day-to-day operations, maintaining high standards of quality and ensuring a positive environment which provides consistent fast, efficient and friendly service for customers.
Achieves sales and profit goals established for the department.
Here’s what you’ll do: Ensures and is accountable for profitability of the department by growing sales through the delivery of top-quality products and controlling costs of goods, inventory levels, labor, supplies and expenses.
Oversees all cash management functions.
Able to perform all POS duties, preparation of food and beverages according to standard procedures, including opening and closing procedures.
Maintains proper loss prevention standards, reviewing cash handling procedures and managing inventory.
Maintains a clean, well-merchandised store.
Ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws and ordinances.
Ensure positive guest experience in all areas; respond to complaints and encourage customer feedback.
Responsible for department management including staffing, training, scheduling, performance management and career development of associates, and developing and monitoring department goals.
Implements the OWN IT! (One customer to Wow Now by Interacting and providing Total satisfaction) service programs, and models high standards of service to achieve a customer-oriented store.

Develop and monitor department budget as required.
Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
Here’s what you’ll need: High School Diploma (Required) or equivalent (GED).
Two years restaurant/food service experience required with at least one year in a lead or supervisory role.
Food Safety Certification (SERV Safe) is completed within 3 months required.
Ability to motivate associates to work as a team to ensure that food and service meet appropriate standards.
Ability to multi-task and problem solve.
Good communication skills for dealing with a diverse staff.
Ability to meet gross margin and profitability.
Vendor negotiation skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to interact with a variety of customers and respond effectively to their needs.
Ability to interpret and adhere to sanitation and food safety standards.
Good organization, prioritization, decision-making, problem solving and conflict management skills.
Strong leadership abilities with outgoing attitude and capability to work in a hands-on environment.
Good strategic planning and business acumen skills.
Good knowledge of retail store operations; knowledge of retail management systems.
Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
