The role of the Cleaning Supervisor Facilities Coordinator is to ensure the proper operation of 3rd shift Union Represented Workforce operating sanitation processes for the facility.
The Cleaning Supervisor must be an effective collaborator and communicator with individuals and teams to provide high level service delivery to the client.
Must have strong verbal and written communications skills.
The Cleaning Supervisor reports to the Housekeeping Manager.
PROFICIENCIES Highly organized to perform the following: Effective verbal, written, and people skills.
Manage scheduling activities.
Superior customer service skills and orientation Responsible for management & continuous improvement of the following business processes: Support Manager for Housekeeping Budget tracking General Housekeeping Program Emergency Response Clean Up Program Absentee / PTO Coverage Manage Team Concept Cleaning Program Conference Room Setups, and various daily business functions Safety Compliance KPI Compliance Client Customer Satisfaction Survey Manage Client Business Process Management Program within team.
Employee Development and Performance My Development Program Compliance Understanding of Building Systems desired: Security and Locks Building Utility Energy Conservation Understanding of Life/Safety Systems Evacuation Plans Understanding of Environmental Health & Safety Waste Removal OSHA, State, and Local Regulatory Compliance HAZMAT (Hazardous Material) Compliance Environmental Compliance Initiatives Essential Functions Coordinate Employee PTO/Vacation Scheduling and Coverage Ensure 100% Employee Safety Training Compliance Support cost saving initiatives.
Support KPI Performance Metrics Education/training High School Diploma or higher 2+ years’ experience with Housekeeping Processes Ability to maintain professionalism at all times under stressful situations.
Ability to plan and manage work under time constraints.
Ability to multitask and work without direct supervision.
Proficient in MS Office, and possess strong written, verbal and people skills.
