Position Summary:
Candidates must be enthusiastic about their dental work, committed to improving the oral health of patients, and willing to provide the highest level of care at all times.
The dental hygienist motivates, educates, and provides excellent preventative care.
Under indirect supervision, the dental hygienist will review medical histories, complete dental charting, remove hard and soft deposits from teeth, and monitor for signs of oral disease.
He or she will educate patients on oral hygiene, provide preventative dental care, take x-rays, and apply fluoride or sealants.
By discovering and documenting areas of failure, both periodontal and restorative, the hygienist facilitates the dentist’s diagnosis and treatment recommendations.
Desired Skills:
Hands on experience as a Hygienist.
Recent graduates welcome.
Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene school.
Current state license.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
