Medical Scribe

We are a well established cardiology practice located in Bloomfield Hills seeking a full-time Medical Scribe.
Our practice is run by experienced providers and a professional and compassionate staff.

*Job Duties:* While working under the direct supervision of the doctors and senior staff, medical scribes are expected to: * Work closely with the physician during office visits * Interact with patients in-room * Enter orders, prescriptions, and other vital information into EHR * Ensure efficient and top-tier care for patients while in the office * Schedule testing and other procedures for patients * Maintain the office (exam rooms, reception area, etc.
) * Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures; complying with legal and organizational regulations.
*Requirements:* Applicants are required to meet or exceed the following basic qualifications.
* High school diploma or equivalent * At least one year of private practice medical office experience * Advanced proficiency in medical and professional terminology * Advanced computer and typing skills *Required Skills/Qualifications:* * Communication and interpersonal skills * Computer use and data entry * Filing * Organizational skills and time management * Dealing with stressful situations and environments * Typing and transcribing * Patient and customer relations * Medical and professional terminology Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $18.
