We are looking to grow our team with people who share our energy and enthusiasm for creating the best experience for our clients.
Our ideal candidate is responsible for the clinical administrative functions of patient intake, scheduling, and registration, insurance verification, obtaining authorizations from specific insurances and clinic based activities required to ensure accurate billing.
Individual is also occasionally responsible for helping clinicians in assisting patients as necessary, maintaining overall cleanliness of the clinic.
Occasional traveling to another clinic to cover for vacations or sick days might be needed.
Strong customer service and computer skills are necessary for this role.
The individual must communicate in a friendly and professional manner with patients, clients, physicians and coworkers.
Insurance verification experience required.
Additional skills required are: 1.
Time management skills: An outpatient clinic can be a fast-paced environment, and a front office coordinator must be able to manage their time effectively.
This includes prioritizing tasks, multitasking, and ensuring that patient care is not compromised.
2.
Flexibility: A front office coordinator should be flexible and able to adapt to changes in schedules, procedures, and policies.
This includes being able to handle unexpected situations and solve problems in a calm and professional manner.
3.
Confidentiality: A front office coordinator must maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
This includes protecting patient information, ensuring that records are secure, and only sharing information with authorized individuals.
4.
Empathy: A front office coordinator should be empathetic towards patients and their families, and be able to understand their needs and concerns.
This includes being able to provide emotional support, answer questions, and offer reassurance.
5.
Attention to detail: A front office coordinator must be meticulous and accurate when entering patient information, scheduling appointments, and handling other administrative tasks.
This requires an eye for detail and the ability to catch errors before they become bigger problems.
Job Type: Part-time Pay: $15.
