Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety
- Collect specimens for testing and perform basic laboratory procedures
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Assist in the maintenance of a clean and organized patient environment
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Requirements:
- Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of an approved nursing assistant training program
- Experience in Home Health Care visits.
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems (e.
g.
, KINNSER)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
