Position Overview Provide operating managers and staff with full and appropriate financial management information and strategic support including budgeting, forecasting, and operational analysis.
Support the business team with functional reports allowing for business interpretation and key business drivers.
Work amongst the team to analyze and recommend potential business improvements.
Interact with business leadership group and other team members to facilitate knowledgeable discussions which are data driven.
Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions) Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
Provide financial support for operating Managers and the General Manager.
Interpret events and activities from a financial perspective (monthly, quarterly, annually).
Assist key managers with operational strategy issues.
Provide informative, timely, and reliable financial information, reports, and analysis for local senior management Evaluate data pertaining to costs to develop forecasts and budgets.
Prepare operational and risk reports for management analysis.
Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
Develop and monitor data quality metrics and ensure business data and reporting needs are met.
Manage a team across multiple accounting functions by setting goals, providing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships.
Continuous improvement of operating efficiencies.
Analysis of financial results.
Detailed knowledge of Product Line/Market business models and operations.
Strong ability to influence with and without authority.
Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must have knowledge and experience in the following.
3 or more years’ of financial management experience with increasing responsibility Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting Strong computer/system utilization skills – MS suite, Analytic Tools, Accounting Software Demonstrated financial/business analysis skills Self-starter who can work with minimal framework and direction Understanding of construction business and/or logic based systems Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills An ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy Strong customer service orientation Extremely organized with strong time-management skills Knowledge/Skill Requirements Action Oriented Enjoys working hard; is action oriented and full of energy for the things he/she sees as challenging; not fearful of acting with a minimum of planning; seizes more opportunities than others.

Work Environment This position is a self-led position in which the individual will interact with customers, scales, sales, and other clerical positions in an office environment.
Customer visits and working outside of the office will be required at times.
