What we are Looking For
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified leasing consultant who shares our vision of excellent customer service and professionalism to join our team at one of our many properties located throughout the Tri-County area.
The leasing consultant is directly responsible for on-site leasing of residential apartment units.
The positions oversees all aspects of leasing and marketing of the property and assist the Property Manager with day-to-day operations.
What You Will Be Doing
Greet prospects and qualify their needs and rental requirements covering all criteria.
Maintain a professional appearance as a company representative, demonstrating sound judgement and conduct.
Participate in Market Surveys and Outreach Marketing activities to support the success of the property.
Process applications for prospective residents and follow-up to maintain open lines of communication.
Prepare leases and other property documentation for prospective residents.
Demonstrate community knowledge by disclosing property information to new residents at close of sale.
Have prospective residents fill out rental applications in accordance with the company procedures and Fair Housing requirements.
Immediately Follow-up on prospective residents that did not close and attempt to close the sale again.
If unable to help prospect, refer them to sister communities to meet prospective resident’s needs.
Distribute renewal notices and follow up as needed.
What You Will Need to Have
Minimum of 1 years’ experience of apartment leasing; sales, or relevant experience
Strong sales, leasing, and customer service skills
Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline driven environment
Ability to provide concise deliverables and clear expectations
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer service focus
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Strong background utilizing Yardi Property Management software
Valid Driver’s License
