What you'll do Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the all-electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following: Lead real estate planning, site selection, negotiations, and lease administration for new and existing facilities across the U.
S.
Develop and execute a comprehensive corporate real estate strategy aligned with aggressive business goals Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including executive leadership, legal, finance, and business unit heads, to understand and address current and future real estate needs Manage lease agreements, including negotiation, renewal, relocation, and termination processes.
Conduct regular portfolio assessments to ensure optimal space utilization and cost-effectiveness Oversee lease administration activities, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
Partner with legal and finance teams to review and finalize lease agreements.
Maintain accurate lease databases and documentation Understand zoning and licensing requirements per state.
Stay informed about local and regional real estate market trends.
Provide insights and recommendations based on market analysis to support decision-making Identify opportunities for cost savings and value creation in real estate transactions Identify and assess potential risks associated with the corporate real estate portfolio.
Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to protect the company's interests.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with external partners.
Manage real estate service providers, brokers, and vendors to maximize the value of real estate services while controlling costs.
Establish departmental objectives, milestone planning, and metrics to track and report performance.
Other duties as assigned by the Director, Corporate Facilities & Services Location & Travel Expectations: The responsibilities of this role require attendance at in-person meetings and events regularly.
The role will be based out of a Scout Motors location in either Novi, Michigan or Columbia, South Carolina.
Applicants should expect that the role may require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and be able to travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.

Experience leading large scale multi-site rollouts preferred.
Strong understanding of real estate principles, deal structures, lease agreements, property management and real estate finance.
Proven experience in managing external vendors, brokers, and service providers.

Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
