The Holly Cafe is seeking a talented and creative individual to join our team as a Sandwich Artist.
As a Sandwich Artist, you will play a crucial role in providing our customers with delicious and visually appealing sandwiches made with fresh ingredients.

*Responsibilities:*
· Sandwich Preparation: Prepare sandwiches according to customer specifications, ensuring consistent quality and taste.
Follow established recipes and guidelines to assemble sandwiches using a variety of bread, meats, cheeses, vegetables, and spreads.
· Food Safety and Sanitation: Adhere to strict food safety and sanitation standards to maintain a clean and hygienic work environment.
Handle and store food items properly, monitor product freshness, and ensure proper food handling techniques are followed at all times.
· Ingredient Preparation: Prepare and slice ingredients such as meats, cheeses, and vegetables to ensure they are fresh and ready for sandwich assembly.
Maintain an organized and well-stocked ingredient station, restocking supplies as needed.
· Presentation and Garnishing: Create visually appealing sandwiches by arranging ingredients in an aesthetically pleasing manner.
Pay attention to details such as garnishes and condiments, ensuring that each sandwich is visually enticing and appetizing.
· Cleanliness and Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, equipment, and dining areas.
Assist with general cleaning tasks, such as dishwashing and sweeping, to ensure a clean and tidy cafe environment.
*Requirements:*
· Culinary Skills: Prior experience in a food service or culinary role is preferred.
Strong knowledge of sandwich preparation techniques, ingredient combinations, and presentation is highly desirable.
· Creativity: Demonstrated ability to think creatively and develop unique sandwich recipes and flavor profiles.
Passion for experimenting with different ingredients and creating innovative combinations.
· Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality sandwiches that meet customer expectations in terms of taste, appearance, and portion size.
· Customer-Focused: Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with customers.
