Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team.
As a Line Cook/Prep Cook, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and cooking of various dishes in our kitchen.
Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment will contribute to the success of our culinary team.
Duties: - Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices - Assist in the cooking and presentation of dishes according to recipes and guidelines - Follow food safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment - Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely preparation and delivery of meals - Maintain inventory of food supplies and notify management when items need to be restocked - Assist with cleaning duties, such as washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and organizing kitchen equipment - Adhere to all dietary department policies and procedures Skills: - Previous experience working in a kitchen or food industry preferred - Knowledge of food safety practices and proper knife handling techniques - Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities - Culinary training or certification is a plus Join our team today as a Line Cook/Prep Cook and contribute to creating delicious meals for our customers.
