Job Title: Pizza Delivery Driver Company: Guido's Premium Pizza of CLARKSTON Location: 5960 Sashabaw Rd, Clarkston Mi 48346 Position Type: Part-Time/Full-Time Guido's Premium Pizza is seeking reliable and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Pizza Delivery Drive.
In addition to delivery responsibilities, you will also be responsible for assisting with various prep work tasks.
If you have a valid driver's license, insurance, a reliable vehicle, and a passion for providing exceptional service, along with a willingness to contribute to food preparation, this position may be perfect for you.
Responsibilities: Delivery Services: * Safely and promptly deliver pizza orders to customers' specified locations using your own vehicle.
* Navigate the delivery route efficiently, utilizing GPS or maps to ensure on-time deliveries.
* Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and responsibly.
Prep Work: * Assist with prepping ingredients for pizza making, such as slicing meats and vegetables.
* Prepare sauces and other pizza toppings according to established recipes.
* Follow food safety and sanitation procedures during prep work to ensure the highest standards of hygiene.
Customer Service: * Provide friendly and professional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for each customer.
* Greet customers upon delivery, maintaining a polite and courteous demeanor.
* Answer customer questions or concerns and address them appropriately or refer them to the appropriate person.
Miscellaneous Duties: * Assist with in-store tasks during non-delivery periods, including dishwashing, folding boxes, stocking ingredients, and light cleaning duties.
* Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely order preparation and accurate packing for deliveries.
* Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements: * Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
* Must have personal insurance coverage for the vehicle being used for deliveries.
* Must own a reliable and well-maintained vehicle suitable for delivering pizza orders.
* Excellent customer service skills and the ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
* Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize deliveries based on distance and time constraints.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Attention to detail to ensure accurate order delivery and payment processing.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as per the business needs.
* Physical fitness to carry and lift moderately heavy loads (pizza bags, boxes, etc.
).
* Familiarity with the local area, streets, and neighborhoods is a plus.
