Job Description Variable Support Supervisor Responsible for supporting maintenance/housekeeping/mobile equipment and 3pimm across three shifts as needed, as well as various project support as required.
This position will support maintenance and sanitation teams on multiple shifts as needed.
PROFICIENCIES Responsible for the following Support Personnel and Vendor network: Supervise Tradesmen, Electrician, Millwright, Machine Repair, & Pipefitter Vendor Manager for OEM and outside service coordination Supervise housekeeping services.
Experience with Team cleaning.
Collaborate with Operations Team for Maintenance, Repair, and Machine upgrades to maximize life cycle of critical equipment.
Mechanical Systems Diagnosis and Repair experience Experience with Pumps, Motors, dock doors and hydraulics.
Knowledge of Allen Bradley, Siemens, and other Operating Systems Knowledge of SAP Contribute to the following business processes: GMS Process for Global Facilities Team Vendor Management Safety Contract Management Maximo and Corrigo Work Order Management Planned, reactive, and predictive maintenance processes.
Facilities Interruptions for planned or reactive maintenance Weekend and Holiday Shutdown Maintenance Planning End-of-Shift Reporting Critical Spare Parts Management Understanding of Building Systems: Building Automation Systems Building Monitoring Systems Data Centers Security and Locks Building Utility & Piping Systems Energy Conservation Understanding of Life/Safety Systems Fire Sprinkler systems Smoke/fire detection systems Fire Extinguishers Signage Evacuation Plans Understanding of Environmental Health & Safety Waste Removal OSHA, State, and Local Regulatory Compliance HAZMAT (Hazardous Material) Compliance Commodity Resource Management Environmental Compliance Initiatives Environmental Emergency Response ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Coordinate Employee PTO/Vacation Scheduling and Coverage Maintain Employee Training Schedules & Records Maintain Versatility Chart for Skilled Trades MEASURABLES AND OBJECTIVES Ensure 100% Employee Safety Training Compliance Perform Timely Safety Incident Reporting and Monitoring Maintain “0” Recordable and Lost Workday Case Injuries Support cost saving initiatives Support KPI Performance Metrics EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Facilities Maintenance Field Minimum of 5 years industry experience required Strong organizational and management skills Strong interpersonal and presentation skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proven ability to provide timely reports If this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet all of the requirements below.
