At Marcos Pizza, we expect each member of the team to habitually See It, Own It, Solve It, and Do It! Position Summary: The General Manager is responsible for overall store operations including hiring and supervision of staff, product and service quality, and financial health of the store.
The General Manager is accountable for achieving store profitability, sales growth, guest satisfaction and employee engagement measures.
This position will report to the Corporate Business Leader.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Champion in providing 5 Star Guest Experience to all customers and partners; Training team to have the customer first attitude.
Leads by Example; Leads daily store operations including supervision of store team members, taking, preparing and delivering guest orders, and cleaning and maintenance of store equipment and facilities.
Responds to and effectively resolves Guest complaints.
Effectively implements, maintains, and corrects (if necessary) processes and procedures to ensure operational excellence in Marcos 10 Operating Systems.
Ensures food safety practices that comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
Establishes and strives to meet store weekly sales goals, service times, and guest experience goals.
Effectively implements Local Store Marketing strategies to build the Marcos brand and drive sales growth.
Reviews store Profit & Loss Statements regularly and uses the data to implement sustainable EBITDA growth measures.
Actively manages food cost through inventory control completing regular inventory and ordering of products and supplies.
Actively manages labor costs through use of predictive labor scheduling for store team members.
Acts to protect company assets to include cash and to maintain the restaurant environment ensuring guest and team workplace safety.
Manages all aspects of the Point of Sale system.
Maintains current and accurate data in all corporate systems to include Point of Sale, Inventory IQ, Marcos University Online, and personnel data.
Maintains effective vendor relationships.
Recruits and effectively interviews applicants to select only the best fit and qualified candidates.
Trains and coaches store team members in all Marcos procedures to ensure product quality and a 5-Star Guest Experience every time.
Leads and models Marcos cultural beliefs creating employer of choice experiences to ensure team members feel valued, appreciated and set up for success.
Work Requirements: Required: 1 year of restaurant general management experience with demonstrable success High School diploma or equivalent Must be at least 21 years of age Valid Drivers License Preferred: ServSafe certified Educated in Marcos Pizza system and Culture including 100% completion of Insider/Driver course, Marcos Leadership Track, Certified Trainer, and Local Store Marketing Marcos Franchising, LLC is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
